Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb founded Sarum Voices in the late 1990s, and has been at the helm ever since. As well as conducting all but a tiny minority of their performances, he has written and arranged many works for the choir, and is the official Clean Cut Counter-Tenor.
He started his musical career as a chorister in Salisbury Cathedral under Richard Seal, and the inspiration he found here led to his determination to follow a musical path. He has held organ scholarships at Truro and Salisbury Cathedrals, and was Organist & Master of the Choristers at St Peter’s Church, Bournemouth from 2003 to 2007. He is currently Director of Music at Lichfield Cathedral.
